Sylvia Epps was born and raised in New York City.

She always loved art ever since she was in middle school. Later on, she went to an art and design high school where she learned about abstract and fine arts. After high school she made a big move to Maryland where she started taking her art seriously and painting everything based on emotion and inspiration.

Sylvia uses acrylic paint and sometimes oil paint. Every piece of art has a meaning behind it and hopes to connect with people. Every piece started with a smile because something or someone inspired her.
